At the FIE October conference, the members committed to promoting the Children's Global Peace Project. The FIE has provided a membership for the project to IEARN and supports the project as an activity that is consistent with the goals of our organization. The Global Peace Project "integrate(s) peace literacy, creative arts, technology and global connections for elementary and middlge school children around the world."

Africa Focus: Sites and Sounds of a Continent

This online multimedia collection brings together images captured on slides and in photographs as well as sound recordings on reel-to-reel and audio cassette that have been reproduced and stored on digital files accessible by any computer of a reasonable minimum capacity.
